My little one absolutely loves cake popsicles and the elder one thinks I make the best cakes.
This is the first time ever I've tried my hands on cake popsicles. Never knew how incredibly uncomplicated it is and you can have so much fun with the shapes and toppings….
It made the girls eclectic and they had fun decorating some on their own.
Little hearts for my sweethearts!!!

Instructions

For the cake

1. Take 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda and sieve. keep aside.

2. In another bowl, whisk 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup powdered sugar till light and fluffy.

3. Add 2 drops of vanilla essence, 2 drops of red gel food color, 1 tsp vinegar and 1/2 cup of warm water. mix well.

4. Fold in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently.

5. Grease 8" cake pan and pour the cake mixture. tap twice and bake for 35 minutes at 180°c

For popsicles

6. Once the cake is cooled completely, make crumbs of the cake.

7. Add 2 tbsp of whipped cream and 1 tbsp of condensed milk. mix till you get a dough like mixture.

8. Shape the cake pops as you want and insert sticks.

9. For the frosting, i simply melted white chocolate, added red food color and melted dark chocolate separately and poured them in tall glasses

10. Tilt and insert the popsicle in one frosting and let it rest for a while. repeat the same with the other. refrigerate for an hour and enjoy.
