Instructions
1. Wash 2 tbsp quinoa and 3 tbsp moong dal / yellow split gram. keep it ready.
2. In a pressure cooker, add a tsp of ghee. let it melt. then add 1/4 tsp cumin seeds and let it splutter.
3. Now add 1 small garlic, a pinch of hing / asafoetida, and washed quinoa after draining the water.
4. Add washed moong dal and 1/8 tsp turmeric powder.
5. Then add 1.25 cups water and mix well. add salt to taste for babies above one year.
6. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook everything in a medium flame for three to four whistles. once the pressure releases, open the cooker.
7. Mash it well with a masher until soft. you can also grind in the blender if you prefer.
