Mouth refresher is usually eaten after a meal to help in digestion and also freshen or mouth . This multi seed mouth refresher is tasty as well as nutritious.
Fennel seeds being the main ingredient, it's said to combat bad breath.


1. Squeeze the juice of 3 lemons, mix salt to taste and 1/2 tbsp water. mix it with 3 cups fennel, 1 cup cumin seeds / jeera and 1/2 cup ajwain / carom seeds separately in three bowls. let it rest for an hour.

2. In a small bowl , squeeze the juice of 1 lemon and add 1 tbsp clove, cinnamon, cardamom powder and salt to taste. mix it well and add to 1 cup dhania dana and keep it aside for 1/2 an hour.

3. Now dry roast everything separately in a kadai expect 1/4 cup coconut palm sugar and the 1/2 cup rose petals. roast it to a nice aroma, it will take around 5 minutes for each. let everything cool.

4. Chop 1/2 cup dried dates into very tiny pieces. now add rose petals, coconut palm sugar, the chopped dates and mix well and store it in a air tight bottle.
