A select pickle recipe from the Andhra cuisine, Dosakya Pickle is made from yellow cucumber. It is a popular dish made tradationally made in the South Indian households. A mix of authentic and aromatic South Indian spices makes the pickle flavorful. This recipe is versatile side-dish for rice, rotis, parathas and breads.

1. Firstly, finely chop the cucumber or cut it into very small pieces.

2. Add salt and turmeric powder to the cucumber paste.

3. Add tamarind paste to the cucumber paste.

4. Take a mixie jar and add 3 tbsp mustard seeds and 4 chillies to it and grind well. mix that in the cucumber paste.

5. In the same jar grind the gingelly and also add it to the paste.

6. Now temper it with jeera, mustard seeds, red chilli and a pinch of hing. mix it well after tempering it. garnish it with coriander leaves.

7. Finally, a good look and a yummy tasting cucumber pickle is ready.
