Instructions

1. Without turning on the, in a pan add 2 tablespoon ghee and add 1 cup milk powder in it. mix it well. add 1/4 cup milk and mix it well.

2. Now switch on the flame and keep whisking this mixture. make sure you use a non-stick pan for this process. you will notice that it becomes thick. transfer it to another bowl and let it cool down.

3. Dry roast sabudana and grind it in a mixer. once the mawa cools down mash it using your hands and add the ground sabudana powder. sabudana powder binds the mawa very well.

4. For the sugar syrup add 1.5 cups sugar with 1.5 cups water and let the sugar melt. make the sugar syrup to one string consistency. add a few strands of saffron and 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder

5. In the mawa mixture, add about 2 tablespoon of milk and mix it well. the dough for the gulab jamun should be soft.

6. Now make small balls for gulab jamun. make it as per your desired size. you may even add elaichi or badam inside.

7. Now deep fry these in ghee till they turn golden brown. once they turn golden brown, add that in the sugar syrup and let it be soaked for few minutes. take it out and serve them.
