1. Heat jaggery, sugar and ¼ cup water in a deep pan. let it melt and allow to cool completely.
2. Take whole wheat flour in a parat. add green cardamom powder and mix well. add ghee and rub the mixture between your fingers till it resembles breadcrumbs consistency.
3. Add the cooled jaggery-sugar mixture little by little and knead till a dough is formed. cover and set aside for 5-10 minutes.
4. Take a medium sized portion of the dough and shape it into a ball. flatten it and roll it into disc of medium thickness. make light crisscross design on the disc with a knife.
5. Heat a non-stick tawa. place the disc on it, make a few light slits on top and cook on low heat for 6-8 minutes. flip and apply some ghee and cook the other side for 6-8 minutes on low heat. flip again and apply some ghee and cook for 1 minute. serve.
