This Kashmiri style fish curry is loaded with spices and has an irresistable aroma to it. Marinated and then deep fried sih pieces are cooked with radish in a flavorful curry, making it the perfect side serve with steamed rice.

Instructions

1. Sprinkle some salt over sliced radish and keep it aside for 1hour.

2. After an hour wash them and squeeze water from it.

3. Add two glasses of water in a pot and add green collard (saag) and give it a boil. after boiling it, drain the water.

4. In a pan add enough oil to fry the fish. add fish pieces and fry till golden brown from all sides. take them out and keep it aside.

5. In the same oil add radish and fry them till color changes. take them out and keep it aside.

6. In a pan add 1/2 cup oil and add chopped onions and fry till golden brown. then add 2 tbsp red chili, 1 tbsp turmeric, 2 tbsp fennel, and 1 tbsp coriander powder, immediately add some water to avoid burning of spices. mix them well.

7. Add salt according to taste, 2 tbsp garlic paste, and 1 tbsp cumin seeds and mix well.

8. Add fried radish and green collards to it. mix them well.

9.Add 2-3 glasses of water and fried fish pieces. add 2 tbsp paste of fried onions, cumin seeds, and black cardamom seeds.

10. Mix everything together and cook on high flame for 20 minutes. enjoy it with white rice.
