Instructions

1. Heat sesame seed oil in a pan. add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, channa dal, grated ginger. cook this till golden in colour.

2. Add hing (optional), salt, tamarind juice, chilly powder and cook it till tamarind's raw flavor is gone.

3. Add some jaggery, cook for 5 minutes and switch off the flame. serve this with dosa, idly, curd rice or upma..
