Millets are small-grained cereal packed with nutrition. Did you know, millets can be made into a perfect Sunday brunch or even an evening snack. One of the most loved South Indian style variation of millets is Lemon Millet. The recipe gets its mindblowing flavor from lemon, green chillies, curry leaves and the tradational spices.

Instructions

1. Soak millets for 1 hour and cook. drain water and keep aside.

2. Heat oil in a pan, add chana dal, split urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, peanuts, splitted green chillies, broken dry red chillies, curry leaves and let them splutter.

3. Add turmeric powder and saute, add cooked millets and mix well.

4. Atlast add salt, fresh lemon juice and mix well.

5. Finally millets lemon rice is ready to be served.
