Sasame seeds laddoo or til ke laddu, is a famous dessert of Maharashtra during makar sankranti. It is a traditional sweet made withb sesame and jaggery to heat the body during the winter months. Cardamom powder is also added in some of the regions.

Instructions

1. Dry roast white sesame seeds till crisp and light brown. set aside.

2. Dry roast dry coconut till light brown. set aside.

3. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and add jaggery. melt and cook till hard ball consistency.

4. Mix together roasted sesame seeds and grated coconut. add to the melted jaggery along with peanuts, roasted chana dal and nutmeg powder. mix well, roll into laddoos while still hot and serve.
