Kurkuri Bhindi is a stir fried variation of the Okra curry, more like pakodas but with a special masala. The crispy and spicy Okra pieces can be served directly with roti or as a side serve with curd-rice or lentil-rice.

Instructions

1. Wash and dry the okra. cut the crown and the tail of each piece.

2.Cut the okra into half and slice it again in the middle, remove the seeds and keep them aside.

3. To the cut okra, add the spice powders namely chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, salt and mix them well.

4. Add besan / gram flour, rice flour, cumin seeds and mix them well. let it sit for 10 minutes.

5. Heat some oil for deep frying. add the okras into the hot oil and deep fry them. cool it a bit and serve them.
