1. In a large bowl, add the cabbage, coconut, green chilli, turmeric powder and salt. mix well using your hands. allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
2. In a pan, heat the coconut oil. add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add the urad dal. add the dry red chillies and curry leaves.
3. Add the cabbage mixture to the pan. stir well and cover with a lid. cook for 3 minutes on medium heat.
