1. Combine 1 cup of water, 1.5 tbsp tea leaves, 2.5 tbsp sugar and 3 crushed cardamom / elaichi, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes. while stirring occasionally.
2. Add 1 cup milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
3. Strain using a strainer and pour the tea into 2 individual cups. serve immediately.
