1. In one bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup (60 gms) old fashioned oats, 3/4 cup (105 gms) all purpose flour / maida, and 1/2 tsp (2.5 gms) baking soda. set aside.
2. In another bowl, cream together 1/3 cup (70 gms) brown sugar and 1/3 cup (67 gms) butter or margarine until light and fluffy. add 1 egg and mix until well combined. add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture in two additions, mixing well after each. fold in 1 cup (160 gms) dried cranberries.
3. Measure the batter for each cookie using a round teaspoon and place on a lined baking sheet. bake at 375°f for 10 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. let cool completely on a wire rack.
