1. Grind the spices namely, cinnamon (dalchini) 50gms, whole black peppercorns (kali mirch) 25gms, cloves (laung) 50gms, liquorice (mulethi) 25gms, thick cardamom (moti elaichi) 50gms and fennel seeds (saunf) 50gms together and store this kadha powder in an air tight container.
2. Now to prepare 1 cup of kadha, boil 1 and a half cup of water.
3. Crush a small piece of ginger and add 1/4th teaspoon of kadha powder to the water and reduce water to half the quantity.
4. Turn off the heat and strain in a cup. add a few drops of lemon and honey as per taste. enjoy your cup of warm soothing kadha!!
