The goodness of pure Amla fruit that is high in the source of vitamin C. The covid time requires a lot of vitamin c, to keep you healthy and safe. Amla is a rich source of it.

Instructions

1. Wash 500gms of amla properly and put it in a pressure cooker with half a cup of water. switch on the gas and let the amla cook till 1 whistle only.

2. Turn off the heat an let the amla cool down for atleast half an hour. cut the amla into quarters or smaller sizes ( as per preference). take a pan and heat it up for a minute. add 1 teaspoon of jeera (cumin seeds), 1 teaspoon of methi dana(fenugreek seeds) and 2 teaspoons of saunf (fennel seeds) and let them roast.

3. Once the spices are roasted, turn off the heat and let it cool down. grind the spices together to form a powder.

4. Now add 1 tablespoon of mustard oil and let it burn a little. when the oil heats up, turn off the gas and add 1/4 teaspoon of hing, the above gringed spices, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, sal as per taste, chopped green chillies (around 100gms) and the cut amla pieces.

5. Mix this all up and turn on the gas. saute the amla for 10 minutes along with the spices. after 10 minutes turn off the gas and your amla pickle is ready!!

Note: store the pickle in a glass jar and refrigerate it for better taste. you can also consume this warm.
