1. To a wide pan, add 1.5 cups milk and 2 cups fresh grated coconut. cook till the milk evaporates.
2. Now add 1 cup sugar and 1 tsp cardamom powder. mix well.
3. Add 2 tbsp ghee and cook till it thickens and till the ghee separates. turn off the flame.
4. Grease a plate/tray with ghee. fill in the coconut-milk mixture evenly.
5. Garnish with roasted chopped pistachios. let it cool for 4 hours.
6. With a knife, make slices. remove and serve!
